I have known Robert for many years. He was an inspiration, a guide and a mentor in the vocation of inter Culture and Inter-Religious Dialogue. From the Center in Montreal, he reached out and touched many lives to the far corners of India among others. He will be remembered. Rest in Peace dear Brother!

We were one of the lucky ones to have known Robert - who was a very compassionate person with a great mind. We hope his legacy of wisdom lives on, he has written many books and shared his knowledge and certainly his memory will live on in all who knew him. Nia:wen Robert, skennen ki ia'seshawe.

To God we belong and to God is our Return. You are with your Maker, in peace. We shall miss your kind face and gentle ways. You strove to do good in this world and you succeeded. May you reap the rewards of all the goodness that you have done in this world. Rest in Peace brother Robert Vachon.

I came to know Robert many years ago and he impressed me with his gentle and caring manner. He was a learned man and clearly ahead of his time in his belief in multiculturalism and in the one family of Man. Faith in God should not have boundaries and Robert always sought to remove them. May this good man Rest In Peace.
